Task 2
With all the ingredients ready for use, these are the preparating steps *Scale: 1 meat : 1 vegetables
1. Meat: Is the meat used as a whole or as minced one?
- Fresh shrimp: Do you need to remove the cover and cut them into small pieces?
2. Dried shrimps: Can they be softened with hot water? will you mince them with meat or keep them as a whole?
3. Vegetables:
Green oninon: cut into small or big pieces?
Corrots, kudzus, or taros: Do they need cutting into superthin threads?
Mushrooms, soya noodles: Will you drain and rinse thoroughly, then also cut into small pieces after soak in hot water for 15 minutes?
4. Mixing:
Put all the meat, shrimps, vegetables, soya noodles into a big bowl.
Add 2 eggs, ½ teapoon of salt, ¼ teapoon of pepper, ½ teapoon of sugar, ½ teapoon of seasoning power (spicies enough for 500 grams of meat and vegetables)
Use hand to mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
5. Wrapping:
Soften the rice paper with a little water (be careful as too soft rice paper easily breaks while rolling)
Depending on the size of the rice paper, put an enough amount of the meat mixture at one end of the rice paper; after rolling one round, fold the two sides in, and then roll until the end.
6. Frying:
Turn on the cooker, put a pan on, and pour the cooking oil into the pan (remember that the spring rolls have to be deep-fried)
Wait until the oil hot, one by one put the rolls into the pan
Fry until the rolls turn light brown and smell good, then place them onto oil obsorbent papers
7. Presenting Simply put all the fried spring rolls in a middle of a bowl or plate. Decorate with some sliced tomatoes and fresh lettuce Serve with a cup of chilly sauce or mayonnaise DECORATION - IT'S YOUR CHOICE :) :) :)
